Carlo Sinatra graduated in the University of Milan in July 1980 with the rating of 110/110 cum laude and became a lawyer in Milan in November 1982.
During his career, he has been internally consulting and assisting major multinational Groups such as Pirelli (corporate and international deals), Solvay (General Counsel of the Milano branch), Eni (General Counsel of Enichem’s different subsidiaries such Polimeri Europa (a joint venture between Enichem and Union Carbide world leader in polyethylene production) and lately Falck (Group General Counsel) being directly involved and active as well as coordinating many important national, international/multinational and M&A deals.
In the last ten years he has been concentrating his activity in energy field, with particular but not exclusive reference to renewable sources, of which he is acknowledged to be an expert from a legal point of view both nationally and internationally.
Carlo Sinatra has been directly following, participating and/or coordinating also through different specialized teams and outside consultants, as the case may be, many projects financing of very important amounts (one of which considered in 2008 the European project financing of the year) with very diversified financial investors and banks and has acquired a deep knowledge both in Italy and abroad of the structure of project finance and contractual technicalities.
He is also a member of different international project financing associations and has participated as Lecturer at many national and international congresses concerning project financing. He also created and he’s coordinating a national yearly master dedicated to project financing and renewables. He’s also writing on different magazines on project financing and energy issues.
He joined Lombardi Molinari in July 2009 in the frame of the Law Firm’s strategy to strengthen deeply its own expertise and market positioning in the area of energy, project financing and international deals, all areas Carlo Sinatra is dedicated.
He is also member of the International Bar Association, and is actively involved in permanent commission dedicated to the analysis of main legal issues concerning international projects developments both in the area of oil, gas and power and project finance.
In December 2010, Carlo Sinatra has funded Studio Legale Sinatra (Sinatra Law Firm), which operates in a very high qualitative level in the energy, infrastructures and project financing areas, also with an exclusive worldwide network which links internationally different and always excellent law firms. He’s personally following project financing and M&A, also cross-border structured, deals.
In January 2013 he has founded the Global Sustainable Social Energy Program association.

Originally trained as an engineer, in 1990 Wanda got the MBA at the Bocconi Business School in Milan and started working at ABB on project evaluation and contract negotiation in relation to some major project finance initiatives. For four years Wanda lectured at the University of Trieste while
working, and in 1996 edited a successful practitioners’ manual on project financing. Thereafter Wanda specialized in construction law and got the LL.M in
Construction Law and Arbitration with merit from the Aberdeen Business School, Robert Gordon University.
From 1996 to 2002 Wanda represented the ABB Group in the staff exchange program at
the World Bank, Washington DC, where she worked on the implementation and
compliance with contracts provisions of energy and infrastructure projects in
Russia, Kazakhstan, and North Africa.
As member of a dedicated team Wanda advised country-client officials on regulatory,
fiscal and legal reforms to expedite financial recoverability and economic growth in the aftermath of the 1997 financial crisis.
Back in Italy in mid 2002, Wanda joined Livolsi & Partners, where she worked on numerous project finance initiatives and related contracts, in particular renewable energy and infrastructure investments (including waste-to-energy and biomass power plants, logistic poles and water resources).
From mid 2004 to mid 2011 Wanda worked at AgipKCO NV, a company established to develop a 30b Us$ oil project located Off-shore in the Caspian Sea, where as Head of Contract Management since 2007 led a group of eleven contract coordinators, responsible for the execution of approximately
two-hundred construction and service contracts.
Since August 2010 Wanda has been a member of the Board of Directors of RFI SpA, Rete
Ferroviaria Italiana, the Italian national
railway network company established to manage the development and maintenance of
the infrastructure railway network in Italy, including the high-speed/high-capacity train system.
Wanda is an active member and officer of the International Bar Association, International Construction Project Committee, and has been a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London, since 2009. Wanda has been invited to lecture, give presentations and participate in major international conferences, often as a speaker or panelist, since 1993.
